ICC-2001
The contest will be disseminated to local contest site(s) by Nalini Foundation. The first round of judging is done by local judges.
Nalini Foundation provides the forms, the grading procedure, and solutions to assist the judges in determining the local winners.
Certificates are awarded to top rankers in each programming language at each site by the local institutions to encourage the bright participants at local level.
The solutions of contestants are received as ASCII text files through email, fax or courier by Nalini Foundation for revalidation at National and International levels. Based on their logic and accuracy in solving the five problems, the participants get Gold, Silver, Bronze, or Honor Mention grades. All contestants who are judged to have solved all the five problems correctly in stipulated time, get merit certificates from Nalini Foundation.
The contest provides international recognition to the top contestants by publishing the contest results in newspapers and periodicals. For the purpose of ranking, Nalini Foundation has so far chosen winners from each of the divisions using BASIC, PASCAL, C, C++ and Logo as programming languages.
The contestants are free to use any ONE of the different languages to solve the five problems. They are free to use any language other than those mentioned above. The contestants have to bring their own language compilers and a virus-free work disk for saving their programs.
